About Our Company

Weston had been producing paper for decades until 2003 when we devoted ourselves in nonwoven industry corresponding with China's environmental policy.

We imported 4 spun lacing and spun bond lines from Germany, Italy and France and started producing nonwovens since 2003. Our paper making machines are restored and transformed to make paper which is laminated under spun lacing technics with polyester, polypropylene (pp) or both. From then, we did not produce paper as finished products but as part of intermediate object for producing spunlace nonwovens.

Obtaining Halal certification was one of the most challenging parts of our project. Our target market is Muslim consumers, and the requirements were extremely strict. Weston Nonwoven stayed with us through the entire process, which took more than six months.
Our local inspection team visited the factory to review raw materials, chemical compositions, production flow charts, workshop layouts, and machine cleaning procedures. They specifically audited the products for the absence of alcohol and any animal-derived components. Weston Nonwoven was transparent, cooperative, and patient at every stage. In the end, the certification was approved, and we were able to move forward with confidence.
