Masterbatch-Colored Microfiber Spunlace Nonwoven is a 70% PET / 30% PA6 ultrafine fiber nonwoven fabric made by the spunlace (hydroentangled) process. The color comes from masterbatch added to the polymer before fiber formation, so the fabric is mass-dyed and needs no post-dyeing.

What is the difference between masterbatch-colored and conventionally dyed spunlace fabric?

In masterbatch coloring, pigment is mixed into the polymer before the fiber is formed, so the color is distributed through the fiber. In conventional dyeing, the finished fabric is dyed afterward. Masterbatch coloring therefore removes the fabric dyeing step and its wastewater.

Do the test results apply to other basis weights and colors?

No. The data above is for the 80 gsm grass green grade. Strength and thickness change with basis weight, so data for other weights should be confirmed by sample testing.

Why is MD strength higher than CD strength?

This is typical of spunlace fabrics, where fibers are oriented somewhat more along the machine direction. For products that are stressed mainly in one direction, such as slit rolls, the orientation should be considered when specifying the cut.

How do I specify a custom color?

Send a physical sample or a color reference (such as a Pantone code) together with the target basis weight. Color matching is confirmed by sampling before production.

Can I choose a basis weight outside 35–150 gsm?

Yes. Weights outside the regular range can be customized. Please include the intended use and target weight in your inquiry.

Which test standard does the report follow?

The report uses GB/T 24218 (Parts 1, 2, and 3) for basis weight, thickness, and breaking strength and elongation. If your quality system requires a different standard, contact us before ordering.
